Mixed Experience at Centrally Located Hotel

small bathroomunpleasant odor
Our room was smaller than I anticipated, particularly the bathroom. A noticeable unpleasant odor seemed to come from the toilet.. I found this quite off-putting. While the location was convenient, the room conditions definitely detracted from the overall experience. Housekeeping could improve its attention to detail, ensuring cleanliness issues are promptly addressed.

the bathroom exhaust fan didn't seem to work at all. the windows were also dirty and dusty. there weren't any exit signs visible for the street. i was concerned about this.

Excellent stay in a central location

open closetspacious roomfood quality
I loved the beautiful twin room on the 24th floor. It provided easy access to elevators. the room was clean and spacious with a little couch, a table, and a desk. It was more comfortable than other rooms i have stayed in. i found the open closet design convenient, especially with the shelf for the kettle.
The breakfast restaurant was FULL! two out of three days, so i could not eat there. the wait time was about 20-30 minutes. The food quality was not the best either.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel features a basement bar and a coffee shop, both with limited operating hours. additionally, a top-floor bar is available. it is often reserved for private functions. i saw that the gym included three treadmills and two stationary bikes.
Location
9/10
The hotel is a short walk from the train station. This made it easy to access various parts of the city. multiple restaurants and shops are nearby. You can find dining and shopping options. i think it is a prime spot.
Service
9/10
The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. they had a good command of english. This was very helpful for international guests. i reminded me of the check-in was slightly labored, though the staff remained polite.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices! I found both Western and local dishes available. I liked the freshness of the ingredients. The staff worked hard to keep everything stocked and tidy. I tried several new Japanese breakfast items.
The elevators got crowded at peak hours. I waited a few times to get up to my floor.
